Kinder Kalm
A blend of herbs suitable for children, traditionally used to help soothe and calm anxiety and promote restful sleep.
This tonic contains herbs which are rich in nervines, nourishing and calming the nervous system. Oatstraw is a gentle and nourishing herb with a restorative and calming action. It is especially useful where there is exhaustion and anxiety leading to a ‘tired but wired’ state and inability to sleep due to overactivity or overstimulation. Oats are highly nourishing, revitalizing, restorative, and rejuvenating, containing nutrients such as Vitamin E & B, iron, manganese, zinc, calcium.
Passionflower contains alkaloids and flavonoids which are thought to be the active constituents, alongside maltol and ethyl-maltol which may be responsible for the sleep-inducing and muscle relaxant activity attributed to passionflower. Chamomille, Rose and Lavender are gentle nervine herbs, used commonly for babies and children to help soothe and calm, helping to aid a restful sleep or relax anxious worries.
This blend includes the herbs: Avena sativa (Oatstraw), Rosa spp (Rose), Chamomilla recutita (Chamomille), Passiflora incarnata (Passionflower),Lavendula officinalis (Lavender)
